William "Bill" Thompson

William “Bill” Thompson passed away on October 24, 2021 in Vermilion at the age of 83 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children Cyndi (Jim) Thompson-Goodchild and Chris (Kim) Thompson; grandchildren Miriam Thompson-Goodchild, Naomi Thompson-Goodchild,  Brandon Ziomek (Brittany), Robyn Ziomek (Jeremy), Justin Thompson (Mercedes), Kyra Thompson (Tyler) and Rylan Thompson; siblings Gwenne (Rod) Tweddle, Verner (Elsie) Thompson, and Pat Thompson; daughter in law Diane Ziomek; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He was predeceased by his wife Jean Thompson; son Ross Thompson; grandson Andrew Thompson-Goodchild; parents Hugh & Olive Thompson; and siblings Shirley Ireland and Alayne (George) Lastiwika.

A public Memorial Service was held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Vermilion Senior's Centre.
