On Wednesday, June 17, 2009 Mr. Bill Kochan of Vermilion passed away at the Vermilion Health Care Complex, Vermilion at the age of 96 years. He is loved and remembered by He is survived by 9 Children: Jean (Gary) Miller of Edmonton, Diane (Clarence) Cunningham of Sherwood Park, Elaine Kochan (Steve Roshko) of Edmonton, Ed (Barb) Kochan of Airdrie, Robert (Liz) Kochan of Sherwood Park, Terry (Marie) Kochan of Sherwood Park, Don (Joanne) Kochan of Cochrane, Brian Kochan of Vermilion, Ross (Maryann) Kochan of Fort Saskatchewan, 1 son-in-law: Malcolm MacMillan of San Diego, California., 1 brother: Mike Kochan of Vermilion, 1 sister: Sally Geise of Kitchener, Ontario, 24 Grandchildren 18 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Anne, his daughter Debbie MacMillan & 2 Daughters-in-law Penny Kochan & Betty Smith, his sister Mary Pawlow and his brother John Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted from Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Vermilion on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Stan Blaszkowski officiating. Donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Alberta Cancer Society or Friends of Vermilion Health Care.
