Stephen Young

On Sunday December 9, Mr. Stephen Henry Young of Grande Prairie, formerly of Vermilion, passed away at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Grande Prairie, Alberta at the age of 87 years. Stephen is loved and remembered by His 3 children: Kate Young of Edmonton, Michael Young of Gunn, AB, JoAnn (Don ) Gnatiuk of Grande Prairie; 3 grandchildren: Benjamin Young of Edmonton, Katie and Beth Gnatiuk of Edmonton, his sister-in-law, Loretta Almond of Edmonton as well as numerous nieces and nephews. No one could have been a better husband, father and grandfather, and he will be deeply missed. He was predeceased by his parents Henry & Clara Young; his loving wife Patricia in 2005, 3 sisters-in-law: Anna, Marie and Frances; 2 brothers-in-law; Ken and Raymond. A Funeral Service for Stephen will be conducted from the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (18407-60 Ave.) Edmonton, AB on Thursday December 13 at 1:00 Pm with Father George Neumann officiating. Cremation will follow the Funeral Mass. Donations; Edmonton Humane Society or the charity of the donors choice
