Sophie (Bury) Jacula

Sophie Jacula passed away on February 9, 2025 in Vermilion, Alberta at the age of 98 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Dean (Jean) Jacula and Sandy (William) Stobart; grandchildren Lori (Kevin) Meyer, Kelli (Bryce) Jacula-Kochan, Kim (Mike) Becher, Shawn (Bethany) Jacula, Melissa (Jean Yves) Pitre, Geoffrey (Ashley) Stobart, and Christopher Stobart (Lauriane Kunzler); great grandchildren Caleb, Eden, and Jesse Meyer, Matthew, Meghan, Jordan, and Rachel Becher, Lennie Jacula, Sophie, Elizabeth, and Forrester Pitre, Raef, Aleyah, and Paisley Stobart; brothers John (Sharon) Bury and Ben (Sharron) Bury; brother in law Bob Comchi; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Steve Jacula; parents Stanley & Katie Bury; and sisters Josephine Bury and Eunice Comchi.
