Rowena Marie (Galloway) Hays

Rowena Marie Hays passed away on June 17, 2025 in Vermilion, Alberta at the age of 97 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Barbara (Peter) Tusikov, Bill Hays, Dennice (Melvin) Reid, Jim (Elaine) Hays, and Bob (Jen) Hays; grandchildren Natasha (Blaine), Katrina (John), Maria, Rowena, Barbara, Sandee (Randy), Alison (Mornay), Leslie (Rohn) and Jillian; great grandchildren Tiago, Iliana, Reid (Athena), Lanae, Aaron, Christian, Dusty, and Rocky; sisters Pat Galloway, Shirley Nielson, and Marj (John) Hoogenradd; special friends Frances & John Whelan, and Shirley Ramage; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Roy Hays; grandson Jason Reid; parents Ivan & Grace Galloway; and sisters Muriel and Yvonne.

A private family service will be taking place.
