Richard "Richie" Grant Thompson

Richard “Richie” Thompson passed away on June 22, 2025 near Minburn, Alberta at the age of 48 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Kari Thompson; children Robert (Genna Heibert), Carter, and Kalli; parents Elsie & Verner Thompson; brothers Ben (Charlene) Thompson and Tom (Marcee Burr) Thompson; parents in law Robert & Ann Rustad; sisters in law Melanie Copeland, Amy (Jamie) McPhee, and Michelle (Casey) Van Peteghen; niece & nephews Ashlee Thompson (Winston Boyle), Curtis Thompson, and Andrew Nelson (Emily Venance); as well as numerous nieces & nephews in law, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his grandparents.

A private family service will be taking place on a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to  SPCA, VES Hot Lunch Program or a charity of choice.
