Peter Dutchak

Peter Dutchak passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025, in his home in Vermilion, Alberta at the age of 90 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 66 years Elsie Dutchak; children Patty (Don) Stachniak, Randy (Helen) Dutchak, Barbie Battenfelder, and Jackie (Shawn) Rempel; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister Terry Townsend—Van Schaik; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Gabe & Olga Dutchak; siblings Nancy, Nick, Betty, and Paul; son in law Larry Battenfelder; and great granddaughter Grace Zietarsky.

Divine liturgy & funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.at St. Olgas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 6052 52 Avenue, Vermilion.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church, Canadian Cancer Society, or charity of choice.
