Patricia "Pat" Marie Hobson

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Pat Hobson after a brief but brave battle with cancer.  She passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025 with her family by her side.

She was born and raised in the Pincher Creek area.  She had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel. Rodeos, camping, and fishing were absolutely her favorite pastimes.  She loved country music and seldom would you see her without her radio on.  She loved to garden and was very proud of her yard and flowers.

She is greatly missed by her loving husband Keith, her children John (Anna) Murfin, Juanita (David) Kulcsar, Carmen (Calvin) Fisher, and Feliesha Montaneau; step children Linda Lee (Frank Cantanese), David Smith, Jody Hobson, Jerry Hobson, Jason (Jody) Hobson, and Sandra (Jeff) Nelson; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother Rod (Eleanor) Fitzpatrick as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents James & Lilian Fitzpatrick; siblings Freeman “Bud”, Margaret, Jean, Agnes, Gerry, Wallace, and Freda; first husband Terry, and partner Bob.

She leaves us with a lifetime of memories of adventure, laughter, mischief, and unconditional love.  May she rest in peace.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Vermilion Health Center and Palliative Care for the wonderful and caring treatment of Pat and the family during her last days.
