Michael Ian Matthew Rurka was born on November 14, 1991 and passed away on March 17, 2026 at the age of 34 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his mother Sherry Rurka; father John (Jean) Murie; brother Dustin (Brie) Rurka; honorary sister Sabrina Perron (Allan Drinkwater); niece Faith Rurka; grandparents Katherine (Matt) Farkash; aunts Wendy Rurka, Amanda (Russell) Brown, and Candice (Darryl) Maron; as well as numerous cousins, relatives, co-workers, and friends.

He was pre-deceased by his maternal grandfather Ronny Rurka.
