On Monday, January 21, 2008 Mrs. Mary Burpee of Hughenden, Alberta passed away at the Hardisty General Hospital, Hardisty at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her family; three children, Terry Lee (Keith) Degenhardt of Hughenden, Rodrick (Madeline) Burpee of Carvel, Alberta, Heather (John) Lea of Fillmore, Saskatchewan; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence.
