Kyle Charles Calder, passed away on June 15, 2026, in Lake Forest, Illinois, surrounded by his family at the age of 47 years.
Kyle was born on January 5, 1979 in Mannville, Alberta, Canada.
Kyle was the beloved husband of Lindsey Stice; a loving father to his children, Kayden, Madison and Ryker Calder, and CJ and Rylan Stice. He was the cherished son of Bill and Dianne Calder; dear brother of Ryan (Suzy) Calder and Jill (Chris) McDavid; and favourite uncle of Brooke and Jace McDavid and Penelope and Zoe Calder. Also grieving his loss is his California family: his parents in-law, Tracy & John Stice; his sister’s in law, Jessica Buckley with her children Brooklyn and Avalon, Tiffany (Ryan) Rankin and with their daughter Selah, and Taylor (Rob) Marienthal with their children, Sage and Rocco. He is also missed by his grandmothers-in-law, Pat Stice and Bev Connolly; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Chicago Service on Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at The Preserve, Moraine Events, 1201 Park Avenue West, Highland Park, Illinois, 60035
Los Angeles Service on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Venue to be announced.
Mannville Service on Monday, August 10, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mannville Recreation Centre.
Memorial donations may be to Mannville Minor Hockey, Riverview Golf Course (Mannville), Kyle Calder memorial fund, or charity of one’s choice.
Kyle will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched. His memory will remain forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
