On Thursday, August 21, 2008 Mr. Joe Hojcska of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright General Hospital at the age of 64 years. He is survived by his loving family; five children, John (Yolanda) of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Lela (Darren) of Edmonton, Alberta, Florence (Chris) of North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Sharon (Harry) of St. Paul, Alberta, Judy (Andrew) of Wainwright; thirteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; his mother, Clara Hojcska of Wainwright; three sisters, Lily (Stew) of Wainwright, Judy of Calgary, Alberta, Stella (Harry) of Ft. McMurray, Alberta; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Lucy in 2007; one daughter, Leslie in 1971; his father, John in 1961.
