On Thursday, March 1, 2007 Mr. John Thompson of Vermilion passed away in the Vermilion Helath Care Centre at tha age of 71 years. John is loved and remembered by: His Wife Florence of Vermilion 5 children: Les (Bonnie) Thompson of Dewberry Brenda (Larry) Carter of Bonnyville Marilyn (Dean) Mathison of Innisfail Dean (Tammy) Thompson of Bonnyville and Louise (Calvin) Sargeant of Rimbey 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren 2 step children: Bryce (Bernadine) Kolbenson of Candiac, SK Irvin (Arlene) Kolbenson of Saskatoon, SK 5 Step-grandchildren and 3 Step-great grandchildren 2 sisters: Edna (Bob) Lamport of Vermilion Stella Fisk (Richard Fisher) of Sherwood Park 2 brothers: Jim (Irene) Thompson of St. Albert, Reg (Shirley) Thompson of Edmonton as well as numerous nieces & nephews He was predeceased by his first wife Elsie Thompson in 2004
