John Maddex

On Saturday, January 19, 2008 Mr. Phil Maddex of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Auxiliary Hospital at the age of 82 years. Phil is survived by his wife, Leona; two daughters, Sharlene (Ken) Drever of Wolseley, Saskatchewan, Gail Jezowski of Wainwright; three sons, Wayne (Elaine) of Red Deer, Alberta, Rick (Francine) of Red Deer, Rocky (Unis) of San Jose, USA; fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; seven step children; fourteen step grandchildren; six step great grandchildren. Also surviving Phil is one sister, Winnie Mathison-Waddell of Vermilion, Alberta; one sister-in-law Luella Ritz of Wainwright as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Phil is predeceased by his first wife, Cecelia; his parents, Gertrude and Fred; sisters, Margaret Sweet, Ann Mathison and Mildred Maddex; brothers, Bill, Mac, Donald and Fred; one great granddaughter; two step-children; two step grandchildren.
