On Sunday, July 19, 2009 Mrs. Jean Hjelmeland of Chauvin passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital at the age of 81 years. Jean is Survived by 2 Sons: Lenny (Susan) Hjelmeland of Edmonton Clinton Hjelmeland of Chauvin; 2 Grandchildren Ray (Kaylee) Hjelmeland, Dave Hjelmeland; 1 Brother; James Rasmussen of Wainwright; 2 Sisters Annilise Langstaff of Edmonton, Elsie (James) MacKay of Mannville; Sister-in-law: Joyce Rasmussen of Wainwright; numerous nieces and nephews; dear friends Dorothy and Perry McMann. She was predeceased by Her husband Harold Hjelmeland in 2000 Her mother Anna Rasmussen in 1982 brother Fritz Rasmussen in 2001 and brother-in-law Stan Langstaff in 2002 A Funeral Service for Jean will be conducted from the Ribstone Community of Christ Church on Saturday, July 25th, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastors Darleene and Wayne Skinner officiating.
