On Saturday, May 19, 2007 Mrs. Helen Whidden of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the Hardisty Long Term Care Center at the age of 90 years. Helen is survived by her loving family; her husband, Alwyn of Wainwright; three children, Wayne (Sue) Pendleton of Brisbane, Australia, Gail Ahlf of Edmonton, Alberta, Laura (Francis) Blue of Hardisty, Alberta; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandson. Helen was predeceased by her parents, Martin and Ethel Knudson; two husbands, Merlyn Pendleton and Gordon Whidden; one son, Lloyd Pendleton; one grandson, Owen Pendleton; one sister, Evelyn; three brothers, Clarence, Merle and Melvin.
