Gweneth Gladys (Smedley) Kibblewhite

Gwen Kibblewhite passed away June 12, 2026 in Wainwright, Alberta at the age of 86 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 15 years, Tom Kibblewhite; children Susan (Ron Thompson) McIntyre, Peter McIntyre, and Donald McIntyre; step—daughters Carrie (Jonn) Kerber, Trina (Ken Hollebakken) Kibblewhite, and Marilee (Paul) Hobbs; grandchildren Patrick, Jason (Shandra), & Hannah Thompson, and Eric & Jacob McIntyre; step—grandchildren Johnathan (Danniel) & Stephanie McBurnie, and Liam & Hailey Hobbs; great grandchildren Jandy, Asher, and Wylie Thompson; step—great grandchildren Akira McBurnie, and Harley McBurnie—Austin; brothers Bruce (Veronica) Smedley with their children Ian (Heather) and Rozalyn (Will), and George (Karen) Smedley with their daughter Karla; brother in law Larry Haupt with his children Heidi (Lawrence), Jodi (Murray), and Dennis; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

She was pre-deceased by her parents Jack & Joan Smedley; daughter in law Angelica McIntyre; and sister Jacqueline Haupt.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the  First United Church, 4918—52 Avenue, Vermilion.

Memorial donations may be made to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada or a charity of choice.
