Gordon Syer "Papa"

Gordon Syer passed away July 24, 2025 in Vermilion, Alberta at the age of 82 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Lisa (Barry) Symington and Erin (Cody) Hinton; grandchildren Kelby (Landin) Ewanec, Ryan (Karlee) Symington, Jaylin Symington (Brandon Feschuk), Hudson, Presley, and Sawyer Hinton; siblings Willy Syer, Doris Paukszto, and Darlene (Derek) Boe; brother in law David Dzivinski; and numerous special nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Lynda Syer; parents Tom & Maisie Syer (nee Webb); siblings Iris Syer and Carol Foster; parents in law Mike & Anne Dzivinski; brother in law Vito Paukszto.

A private family service will take place at a later date.
