Gordon Braithwaite passed away July 15, 2026 in Sherwood Park, Alberta at the age of 69 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years Karen Braithwaite; children Keri Braithwaite, Kyle (Meghann) Braithwaite, Becky (Jake) Twerdochlib, and Brendon (Kara) Braithwaite; grandchildren Connor & Blake Roscoe, Gavin, Everett, & Elise Braithwaite, and John, Lauren, & June Twerdochlib; siblings Francis Bates, Phyllis Braithwaite (Dave Onufrechuk), Roger (Sandra) Braithwaite, Marilyn (Dorsey) Butz, Linda (Brent) Romanchuk, and sister-in-law Lois (Gary) Etherington; siblings in-law Patsy Brodbin (Blaine Hude), Cathy (Peter) Loughran, Pete (Toby) Brodbin, Bob (Tina) Brodbin, Joe (Lisa) Brodbin, and Kenny (Corinne) Brodbin; as well as many extended family members & cherished friends.
He was pre-deceased by his parents Don and Joyce Braithwaite; son Christopher Braithwaite; brother Bruce Braithwaite; parents in-law George and Annie Brodbin; and brothers in-law Ron Bates and Jim Brodbin.
A Celebration of Life is taking place on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 10:30am at the Clandonald Community Hall.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Columba Cemetery.
