Glen Matthew Berg passed away on December 6, 2021 in Vermilion at the age of 97 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children Donald Berg (Pam Clark), Bernice (John) Topilko, Doreen Willson (Ron Willson, predeceased), Roy (Theresa) Berg, Linda (Leonard) Chetter, Mabel (Brent) Wyllie, and Peter (Colleen) Berg; grandchildren Ryan Willson, Sheryne Willson, Jennifer (John) Farkas, Erica (Aaron) Clark, Jason (Kelci) Chetter, Brett Chetter, Scott Bigelow, Chelsey (Kevin) Wright, Byrton Wyllie, Blake Wyllie, Shelby (Logan) Roth, Travis (Rena) Berg, and Tyler Berg; great grandchildren Alex, Ethan, Anthony, David, Jaclyn and Jillian; daughter in law Maryann Berg; siblings in law Robert Woods and Julia Berg; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife Elsie Berg; son Harvey Berg; parents Gustave & Bessie Berg; brothers George Berg, Howard (Mary) Berg, and Norman Berg; and sisters Grace (Charles) Frost, Laura Woods, and Hazel (Dick) Pilger.
A Public Funeral Service was held on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the McQueen Memorial United Church, Mannville.
Regulations Exemptions Program protocol was followed. Masks, proof of vaccination or a negative rapid test required.
