Gertrude “Gert “ Isert passed away on May 3, 2026 in Vegreville, Alberta, at the age of 88 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Dalyce Murphy, Miles Isert, and Darren (Cindy) Isert; grandchildren Kyle, Corbin, Jenelle (Jared), Braydon, Allyson (Dallas), Michael (Sable), and Danielle; great grandchildren Sage, Roan, Ryatt, Kali, Hendrex, Walker, Caynen, and Quinnley; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Predeceased by her husband Alvin Isert; parents Walter and Helen Crowther; grandson Derik Isert; and siblings Esther, Len, Vern, Murial, and Gordon.

A private family service to take place.
