Ewhen "Yo" Woywitka

Ewhen “Yo” Woywitka passed away on June 15, 2026, in Viking, Alberta, at the age of 85 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 21 years Gail; children Todd (Sheri), Adrienne (Brenda), Tracy (Brad), and Wade (Dawn); grandchildren Nick, Kyla, Brendan, Sidney, Duell, Stephanie, and Jamie; great grandchildren Korie, Calix, Jude, Evangeline, and Juliet; brother Orest (Lil); special great nephew Weston; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was pre-deceased by his first wife Shirley; parents Mike & Kate; and siblings Ostap, Clifford, and Lil.

 A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mannville Recreation Centre, 5202 52nd Avenue. Viewing taking place 1 hour prior to the service at the Mannville Recreation Centre. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to STARS, Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, or charity of your choice.

The Woywitka family wishes to acknowledge and thank Dr. Hagen and the wonderful nursing & support staff at the Viking Health Centre for the love and care you provided to our family.
