Eleanor Parr

Eleanor Margaret Parr passed away on August 21, 2026, in Vermilion, Alberta at the age of 82 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Allan Parr (Christine Graham) and Art (Lanie) Parr; grandchildren Taylor Holder (Harrison Brown), Ryan (Alexis) Parr, Keyauna Parr (Nicko Kirouac), Dalyn Parr, Jelena, Laramie, & Presley Parr, Brittany (Brett) Younghans, Kody Pashulka; great grandchildren Emmett & Hadley Holder, Odeya Kirouac, Kessler Parr, Cayson, Paizlee, & Teagan Younghans; chosen family Tara, Kyra, Jace, & Mac McLachlan and Adam Dobranski; siblings Shirley (John) Patmore, Jean (Claus) Young, and Patsy (Kevin) Salzl; siblings-in-law Pat Harwood, Barry Moore, Grant (Deb) Parr, Sandra (Roger) Braithwaite, and May Rhan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was pre-deceased by her husband of 55 years Lynn Parr; parents Leslie & Florence Harwood; siblings Larry Harwood and Irene Moore; parents-in-Law Francis & Laura Parr; and siblings-in-law Dwaine Parr and Anne Parr.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Dewberry Arena.

Memorial donations may be made to the Dewberry Arena Fund, Dewberry School, or Friends of Vermilion Health Centre (Palliative Care).
