Edward "Ed" Paul Hlus

Edward “Ed” Paul Hlus of Innisfree, passed away September 5, 2026 in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of  87 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years Eileen Hlus; children Deanne (Steve) Bolton, Donna (Kevin) Reeds, Darrel (Leanne) Hlus, and Erin (Nathan) Chmielewski-Tremblay; grandchildren Danielle Newman (Steve), Kim (Adam) Breland, Nicole Bolton, Alix Reeds, Jesse (Ashley) Reeds, Silas Reeds (Alexandra), Charlize Reeds, Laramie (Zarley) Johner, Bailey (Bari) Hlus, Quinn (Noah) Devine, Mathew Chmielewski-Tremblay (Kayla), and Jillian Chmielewski-Tremblay; great grandchildren Arlie Newman,  Kirksen, Iliana, & Haelyn Breland, Arden & Myla Johner, Lacey, Holly & Goldie Dawn Hlus; siblings Paulette (Stew) Perram and Robert Hlus (Walter Zicha); siblings in law Esther Huijsink, John (Melleny) Yost, and Bonnie (Mark) Bray; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was pre-deceased by his son Eric Hlus; brother Rick Hlus; parents Paul & Jessie Hlus; brother in law Hermann Huijsink; and parents in law Conrad & Margaret Yost.
