On Tuesday, April 21, 2009 Donna Johnston of Wainwright, Alberta passed away, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, at the Wainwright General Hospital at the age of 45 years. Donna is survived by her loving husband, Gerry; two daughters, Kaylee and Kiana all of Wainwright; her mother, Martha Carsell of Wainwright; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ted and Pauline Johnston of Armstrong, British Columbia; five sisters, JoAnne (Rodger) Jackson of Cold Lake, Alberta, Debbie Veer of Wainwright, Patty (Norm) Bartel of Stony Plain, Alberta, Carolyn (Wayne) Lewin of Kitscoty, Alberta, Amy (Cody) Olson of Beaumont, Alberta; one brother-in-law, Jim (Rolande) Johnston of Beaumont; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Bill Carsell.
