Dale Matters Obituary

Dale Matters passed away January 5, 2026 near Mannville, Alberta at the age of 67 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Donna; children Aaron (Mariah) Matters and Brandi (Steven Chinn) Matters; grandchildren Nikolaas, Jax, Cruz, Makala, Drake, and Annalyn; siblings Ron (Shelley) Matters, Gary (Linda) Matters, and Loriann (Mark) Ewashko; mother in law Jean Nash; siblings in law Clayton (Connie) Jackson, Ross (Teresa) Jackson, and Wendy Jackson (Warren Kelliher); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Bob & Shirley Matters; father in law Wayne Jackson; and brother in law Grant Jackson.

A family service will be taking place in the spring.

Memorial donations may be made to the Vermilion Fire & Rescue or charity of choice.
