Cyril Bruce Beattie

Cyril Bruce Beattie passed away on March 17, 2026, at the age of 71 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 41.5 years Marlene Beattie; children Olivia (Stu) Robinson, Cyanna (Chris) Odo, and Braden Beattie; grandsons Axton Robinson and Huxley Odo; mother May Johnston; sisters Deanna Beattie, Carolyn (Wayne) Tymchyshyn, Juanita (Greg) Diebolt, and Karen (Gord) Zacharuk; mother in law Nora Osborn; sister in laws Cheryl Grover, Val (Ash) Hambley, and Bonnie Grover; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was pre-deceased by his father Cyril Beattie; stepfather Kitt Johnston; father in law Tom Osborn; sister Sandra Beattie; brother in laws Ira Grover and Brian Grover; and nephew Jody Cunningham.

In keeping with Bruce’s wishes cremation has taken place.

Come and go tea to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 2:00pm-5:00pm at the Vermilion Regional Centre, 5702 College Drive.

Memorial donations may be made to Alberta Cancer Foundation, Friends of Vermilion Health Centre, or a charity of choice.
