Cynthia "Cindy" Klasson

Cynthia “Cindy” Klasson passed away on April 9, 2026,  in Vermilion, Alberta, at the age of 64 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Jordan (John) Thompson, Courtney Burke (Lyndon Poliakiwski), and Ryan Burke; grandchildren Aubrey, Emilia, and Ewan; siblings Launette (Ron) Kathol, Denise Clarke-Ames, and Marlon Klasson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Predeceased by her father Vern Klasson; mother Wanda Torkelson; sister Corrien Klasson; and first cousin Wynonna Raaflaub.

 A private family service will be taking place on a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to VES or St. Jerome’s Hot Lunch Program, Canadian Cancer Society (memo: Breast Cancer), or charity of choice.
