Cynthia Simmons

On Sunday, December 21st, 2008 Mrs. Cynthia Simmons of Vermilion and formerly of Islay, Alberta passed away at the Vermilion Health Care Centre at the age of 88 years. Cynthia leaves to mourn her passing her children: Grace (Ed) Scherbinski of Wainwright, Ed (Nadine) Simmons of Islay, Colleen (Tom) McPhee of Vermilion and Carol Tomiak (Perry Elliott) of Vermilion; 7 Grandsons, 1 Granddaughter, 14 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren; 1 Sister: Frances Howey of Edmonton; 5 Brothers: Earl (Millie) Cox of Edmonton, Charlie (Lucille) Cox of Stony Plain, Raymond Cox of USA, Howard (Pat) Cox of Edmonton, Ronald (Aline) Cox of Edmonton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was Predeceased by her husband Garfield, her parents Ed & May Cox, Daughter May, 5 sisters, 4 brothers, 1 sister-in-law and 3 brothers-in-law.
