On Wednesday, October 11th, 2006 Mr. Cliff Firkus of Irma, Alberta passed away at the Viking Hospital, Viking, Alberta at the age of 79 years. Cliff is survived by his loving wife, Freda of Irma; five children, Doris (Ken) Ford of Irma, Ken (Marg) Firkus of Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Mervin (Wendy) Firkus of Irma, Renita (Al) Cooper of Red Deer, Alberta, Lorne (Shelly) Firkus of Irma; sixteen grandchildren; one sister, Joyce Budzinski of Nanaimo, British Columbia; three brothers, Keith (Vivian) of Irma, Ron (Joan) of Calgary, Alberta, Gordon (Wyn) of Chilliwack, British Columbia; one sister-in-law, Donna Firkus of Standard, Alberta, step-mother, Mary Firkus of Chilliwack. He was predeceased by his father, Ambrose Firkus, his mother Alice Firkus, one brother, Albert; and one brother-in-law, Walter Budzinski.
