Bertha Harwood Obituary
Bertha Matilda Harwood passed away on August 2, 2026, in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 87.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 66 years Gerald Harwood; children Darren (Larissa) Harwood, Blair (Maureen Whelan) Harwood, Leana Ross, and Marty Harwood; grandchildren Alissa Harwood, Brennen Harwood, Charissa (Theo) Charpy, Shayla Ross, and Tasneem Harwood; great-granddaughter Escence Charpy; brother Norman (Marilyn) Dyrvik; brothers-in-law Delbert Jones and Bruce Craige; sister-in-law Shelagh Harwood; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
She was pre-deceased by her parents Hans and Marie Dyrvik; siblings Matilda Jones and three infants; brother-in-law Fred Harwood; and sister-in-law Myrtle Craige.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 1:00pm at Reflections Funeral & Cremation Services Ltd., 4824 51 Ave, Vermilion, Alberta.
Memorial donations may be made to The Alzheimer Society of Canada or a Charity of Choice.
